Teachers’ day is celebrated around the nation as mark of honour of our Great National figure- Dr. S. Radhakrishan who was born on this day. It is not only pledged but also remembered to follow the footsteps laid by him in the building up of our future generation by inculcation of values and principles. The teaching fraternity requires shouldering upon the responsibility in molding up the students as better citizens of the nation

Teaches’ Day was celebrated on September 4, 2021 Saturday (being Sunday on 5th September) in the college premises .The entire staff assembled with lot of enthusiasm after a long time due to pandemic.

The program began with the gesture of respect to Dr.S.Radhakrishnan by offering the rose petals by the Principal-Dr. Kuldeep Dubey, Asst. Director-Fr. Roshan Kindo, Vice Principal-Dr. G. Padma Gouri, Head of various departments and the staff members.

The objectives of the celebration were well presented by the Principal in his speech. He expressed his deep sense of ecstasy over the moment for having gathered to celebrate the long awaited day of pious profession. He recalled the duties and responsibilities on the part of the teaching fraternity to be undertaken with passion and honesty. He also insisted on physical fitness and mental peace so as to impart and perform all the functions with perfection.

This followed by some entertaining activities creating fun and jolly atmosphere, both for the faculty and This followed by some entertaining activities creating fun and jolly atmosphere, both for the faculty and assisting staff members. The winners won the gifts and made an inspiring moment for all the participants.

Later, the lunch was hosted by the Management of the institution in International Hotel-Babylon where no one failed to enjoy the relishing sense and moments of joyous leisure; which made a memorable event of the day.

St. Vincent Pallotti College, Raipur celebrated the 75th Independence Day in its premises with exhilarating zeal and enthusiasm. The program witnessed the presence of our Chief Guest – Rev. Fr. Shanti Prakash Panna, the Director of St. Vincent Pallotti College; Principal - Dr. Kuldeep Dubey, Asst. Director-Fr. Roshan Kindo & Vice-Principal-Dr. G. Padma Gouri along with the assembled teaching, non-teaching staff and good number of students.

Owing to the Govt. instructions amidst Covid pandemic; a short program was scheduled excluding any cultural performance. The event regenerated the patriotic and nationalistic feeling with the thumping march of NCC escorting the dignitaries to the ground. The anchor drew everyone’s attention by warm greetings and congratulating on the occasion. The objectives of celebrating the national festival were well defined. With this followed the hoisting of the national flag by the Chief Guest-Rev. Fr. Shanti Prakash Panna. The college campus felt to be lively again with the utterance of National Anthem.

Dr. Kuldeep Dubey- the most dynamic person & Principal of the college expressed the national concerns of every citizen through his speech. The poetic verses of renowned poets added the intense feelings towards the nation.     

His address followed with the speech of a student Ms. Monika Kapoor from BBA-II recalling the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters.

Had there been no pandemic times, more performances would have added colours to the event, as has been in the history of the college.

The program deliverance with well-chosen words and expressions by Ms. Vidhi Chhabra (Asst. Professor-Dept. of Commerce &Management) evoked nationalistic consciousness. At the end, vote of thanks was proposed with all warmth and respect. Last but not the least, the arrangement of refreshment for all, well served by the supporting staff, concluded the event leaving behind the memories to be cherished.

St. Vincent Pallotti College, Raipur is one of the colleges that remains involved in undertaking best practices in the interests of the students. Apart from government scholarships, the institution stands ahead in providing various scholarships to the extraordinary achievers and encourages the talented performers representing the various fields at all levels.

Hence, moving on the ladder of success story, St. Vincent Pallotti College, Raipur organized the program of Scholarship Distribution Ceremony on 8th April 2022 in order to provide scholarship to all those students who displayed excellent performances in their respective fields. Under the different categories, 83 students were provided the scholarship of 3lacs, 20 thousand rupees entitling 3500-5000 rupees each, provided by the institution.

The chief guest of the occasion was Shri Kuldeep Singh Juneja Ji, M.L.A (Raipur-North),and Chairman of C.G.Housing Board. Amongst the other guests were Mr.Amitesh Bhardwaj, Parshad of Kalimata Ward, Raipur and Mr.Subodh Haritwal, Vice-President of College Alumni Association.

During the program, Rev.Fr.Shanti Prakash Panna –the Director of the college, Dr Kuldeep Dubey –Principal, Fr.Roshan Kindo- Asst.Director, and Dr.G.Padma Gouri-Vice-Principal, the HODs of various departments, teaching and non-teaching staff as well as the students were also present.

The program commenced with the lamp lighting and the melodious chanting followed by the gesture of welcoming guests. The students’ Welcome dance made the event very lively.  

In his welcome address, Dr. Kuldeep Dubey, the Principal of the college gave the brief introduction of the college through the display of PPT, about the excellent performances of the students in NCC, Sports, Education and social service. He also added the information of continuous efforts being made in the quality enhancement of the institution.

As the institution is well known for its cultural facet too, the performance of folk dance presented by the star dancers of the college was an added colour to the atmosphere. This program expressed the zeal and passion of the potentially talented students of the college.

Shri Kuldeep Juneja Ji, the chief guest, in his speech applauded the college for its tradition of providing the scholarship under four different categories. He insisted on practical education essentially required for career. Moreover, some alumni like Mr. Rajeev Mundra, Mr. Ashish Droulia, Mr.Subodh Haritwal, Mr. Prakash Agrawal and Mr. Ashutosh Singh also encouraged the students by providing the scholarship.

After the distribution of the scholarships, the program concluded by Vote of Thanks proposed by the Vice-principal Dr.G.Padma Gouri that was followed by National Anthem.

The entire program was successfully organized by the strenuous efforts made by the College Cultural Committee.

St.Vincent Pallotti College, Raipur celebrated the 73rd Republic Day in its premises with exhilarating zeal and enthusiasm. The program witnessed the presence of our Director–Rev. Fr. Shanti Prakash Panna, Principal- Dr. Kuldeep Dubey & Vice-Principal - Dr. G. Padma Gouri along with the assembled teaching and non-teaching staff as well as NCC cadets.

The anchor Shlok Jaiswal drew everyone’s attention by warm greetings and congratulating on the occasion. With this followed the unfurling of the national flag by the Director-Rev. Fr. Shanti Prakash Panna and Principal Dr. Kuldeep Dubey. National Anthem was sung by all present on the occasion.

The speech delivered by a student Vinay Jadhav enumerating the cause and essence of Republic day recalled the memories of those sacrifices made by the great people. The verses of the well-known poets incorporated in his deliverance inculcated and cherished the patriotic feelings for the nation.

The Cultural Committee has organized Kite Making Competition on the occasion of Makar Sankranti on 14.01.2022 for all the students of the college in virtual mode at 12:00 noon to 1:00 P.M. As the college activity is again switched to online mode due to the global pandemic, the students joined the competition using Zoom Application. The duration of the competition was one hour. Students from various departments have actively participated in the competition, out of which 4 students secured positions.

The judges of the competition were Dr. Sunita Pawar and Mrs. R. Gayatri Iyengar. The event ended with the motivating words of Dr. Kuldeep Dubey, the principal of the college. He admired the zeal, efforts and craftsmanship of students and praised them  for bringing many innovative and practical ideas in designing kites.
