2020-21

A cultural activity of DYNAMIC FOLK DRILLERS was organized by cultural club, which was held on 26th of June 2021, on Saturday from 11:10 pm onwards at the zoom meeting.

It was well planned program & all the students of education department had participated in this program voluntarily.

The objectives of the cultural club are:

  • To respect & appreciate the cultural diversity.
  • To help students to keep in touch with the customs & traditions of different cultures.
  • Introducing the wonderful colours of Indian culture.
  • To provide a platform to showcase different cultures.
  • Bring cultural awareness.

 

A team of twenty six club members along with the help of club co-ordinator Mrs. Ramola Vikas Dan were present to organize the activity.

Sister Kamala Mary welcomed all & gave information about the importance of cultural diversity. She also introduced the guest of the events. Next to that a beautiful & melodious Chattisgarhi song was sung by Jennifer Prakash. Objectives of the club were described by Rishu Priya Lakra. A beautiful Traditional dance was presented by Sonali Ekka. Next to it Nishi Lakra displayed the best performances of dance & song videos of the participants selected by the judges.

After the beautiful & mesmerizing performances of the participants the results were declared by our Principal Dr. Kuldeep Dubey. The results of the competition were as follows:

He congratulated the winners & also appreciated the hardwork & determination of the cultural club members, who have conducted a lovely and beautiful programme.

Next to that, the surprise winners were announced by our Vice Principal Dr. G. Padma Gouri for the best attire of the participants which goes to Heena Banjara for song & Swati Tirkey for dance. In her speech she gave much importance to the need for such programmes. She also encouraged the students for their laudable performances.

After this our HOD Mrs. R. Gayatri Iyengar enlightened us with her valuable speech and she congratulated the winners & appreciated the hard work of the members of the cultural club as well as the participants.

A vote of thanks was proposed by Payal Panda on behalf of the cultural club.

As a token of reward, the participants were certified with an appreciation certificate. Innumerable approbation were provided by the students via a google feedback form generated by the members of the club.

All the events were entertaining & delightful . Everyone enjoyed a lot. As the event drew to a close, the students were filled with a sense of appreciation. The participation of the students was very satisfactory.

The club co-ordinator Mrs. Ramola Vikas Dan appreciated all those who participated in the activity & for making it a tremendous success.

At the end of the momentous event, Principal Dr. Kuldeep Dubey , Vice Principal Dr. G. Padma Gouri , HOD Mrs. R. Gayatri Iyengar and the teachers gave their positive opinion about the event and appreciated the club members for their dedication, hardwork, perseverance and success.

“ Simple Acts Big Impacts”

Environment plays an important role in healthy living and the existence of life on planet Earth. It is critical to protect the environment so as to reduce the destruction of Eco-System caused by a myriad of anthropogenic activities.

To spread the awareness of the importance of Plants and Trees “ Little Sprouts Big Dreams” was been organised for B.Ed. department by Eco Club.

The activity was conducted on Google Meet by the Eco Club members in the precious presence of Respected Principal, Vice Principal , HOD of Education dept along with more than 130 students.

The activity included-

  • Introduction of Seed Bombs
  • Objectives of Seed Bombs
  • Places to grow, Cautions
  • Follow up

It was concluded by the follow up action which would be clicking pictures of the seed bombs during its germination period after 1-2 months of progress.

The activity was a great success under the guidance of Mrs. Yashswee Mam and Eco club members were successful in spreading the word about importance of small steps towards our environment.

A hands on experience activity “POWERPOINT KI PATHSHALA” was organized by Innovative Practice Club on Friday, 7thmay 2021 from 9:20 am to 10:00 am at zoom meet. The main purpose of this event was to make classmates a perfect tech-savvy before internship program. It was very well planned activity and many students voluntarily participated in this activity.

The Innovative Clubs' key goals are:-

  • To infuse a culture of innovation.
  • To inspire and learn.
  • To come up with great executable ideas.
  • To have great displays and opportunities for everyone.
  • To have a vision of creativity.
  • To develop innovators.

A Google form was generated by the club members to learn about their students’ technological problems and to encourage them to acquire more knowledge about new technologies. The form listed several digital learning resources and softwares. Based on the overwhelming response to the power point presentation, the innovative club decided to organize “PowerPoint Ki Pathshala”.

A team of sixteen club members with the help of club coordinator Dr. Shraddha Verma were present to organize the activity. Neha Shalina Minj welcomed all and gave an informative speech about the importance of virtual learning tools and softwares at the start of the event. Activity was started by Khemin Verma, she gave guidance on how to make powerpoint presentation on mobile and continued by Varsha Kamlani, she gave guidance on how to make powerpoint presentation on laptop.

Students engaged in the activity with enthralled expressions and enquiring minds. As a token of recognition, the participants were given a certificate of appreciation via an activity related task. More than 25 students got the certificate of appreciation. Numerous positive responses were provided by the participants via a Google feedback form generated by the club.

As the activity drew to a close, volunteers' faces were filled with a sense of satisfaction. A total of 91 students participated in the activity. The team coordinator Dr. Shraddha Verma appreciated all those who participated in the activity and making it a huge success.

At the end of the event, Principal sir Dr.Kuldeep Dubey, Vice Principal ma'am Dr. G. Padma Gouri and HOD ma'am Mrs. R.Gayatri Iyengar gave their positive opinion about the activity and appreciated the club members for their hard work, determination and success.

“A Tribute to Corona Warriors” 1st May, 2021,Saturday

Extension Activity Club conducts activities based on social awareness as well as it emphasizes on knowledge, skills, belief and value of the people. It encourages people to take action on the basis of information received by them.

 

Extension Activity Club of Department of Education organized a program on “A Tribute to Corona Warriors” on 1st May, 2021, Saturday. As Our country is experiencing a bad phase due to the pandemic of Covid – 19. In this crucial point of time, our frontline workers are doing their duties for us with great dedication and responsibility. They are working day and night and struggling with the available resources to save our lives from this deadly disease. So, it is our duty to pay honour and tribute to them as they are working as ‘warriors’ these days. They are none other than doctors, nurses, compounders, other hospital staffs, social workers, policemen and many more. We tried to extend our gratitude to all the warriors of corona Virus through this event.

The main objective of this program was to create positive environment during the existing pandemic phase, make people aware of preventive measures against Coronavirus and pay tribute to corona warriors who are working relentlessly and giving their services.

 

  • To Spread Positivity:- ”HUMANISM" epitomizes selfless service beyond the call of duty, and that is the quality that has been displayed by the "corona warriors “ in India, during the country’s battle againstCOVID-19.
  • To bring awareness on wearing mask, social-distancing which is mandatory in this pandemic.
  • To provide knowledge, change attitude, commitment to Covid-19 prevention as per the WHO guidelines.
  • To highlight the roles of the Corona warriors.
  • To appreciate the work and effort of our heroes of the frontline.
  • To pledge for taking care of ourselves family, friends and Neighbours.
  • Started with a prayer, proceeded by a musical journey to connect with God, then highlighted facts of Corona Virus, then shared the precautions to be taken, then given information about the vaccination drive, followed by a pledge taken by the audience, after that a video had been shown and the last but not the least, program ended with the vote of thanks.

    Tripti Roy, Abhinav Mukherjee, Ankita Lakra, Sr. Kamala Mary, Sr. Mukta Toppo, Johnson Paul, Divya Shailey, and Kanchan Patel. The program was organized under the guidance of Mrs. Mini Pillai Ma’am in charge of extension club. The program was conducted in Zoom platform by the members of the club. Students expressed gratitude to the corona warriors through this event.

When one thinks of the best way to achieve physical fitness, Zumbais always on the top of the list. Zumba is a fitness program which involves dance and aerobic movements perform to energetic music. This exercise reduces health risks, keeps access pounds at bay, strengthens one’s heart and boost one’s mind and refresh moods. This fantastic workout is growing in popularity more andmore every single day.

 

To go with the flow, a‘Zumba Hour’ has been organized for B.Ed. Sem I students by H2F - Club of Department of Education to bring harmony in physical and mental well-being of the students.

The activity was conducted on Zoom Platform and the time duration was1hour. The activity was led by Semester-I student, Ms. Dimpy Walia.

Total number of participants:Total 77 students participated in Zumba session.

The session was full of enthusiasm and fun.

Department of Education conducted an ice breaking session named MEET & GREET for the student of B.Ed. Sem I. This was the First Saturday Activity conducted through virtual platform.  Following objectives were framed  while planning the activity

  • To compose a professional introduction for better collaboration .
  • To develop communication skills.
  • Facilitate students to know each other.

Students   participated   zealously and came up with creative ideas for introducing themselves. Kamala Mary has been declared  the star of the activity.
