A Parents-TeacherMeeting is not just meetings they are milestones in a student’s growth. It is agreat opportunity to share academic progress of students based on assignments,class room observations and unit test. The objective of the PTM is to informthe parents about their wards’ performance and learning styles. On 11thOctober 2025, the Department of Management organized a Parent- Teacher Meetingfor BBA students to discuss the performance of the students with their parents.Ms. Aanchal Mishra (In-charge of the Department) addressed the parents andpresented a concise introduction to the new course structure and curriculumunder the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020), laying out the goals,objectives, and broad changes. It was a great interaction between the teachersand the parents. For the development of the students, their strengths and areasof improvements were discussed. The progress report was shown to the parents andtheir suggestions were noted.

The Principal of thecollege Dr. Kuldeep Dubey, delivered a motivating address, urging students andparents to embrace the reforms brought by NEP 2020, emphasizing the importanceof adaptability, lifelong learning, and the opportunities afforded byinterdisciplinary education. He encouraged the students to take ownership oftheir future, engage proactively with the new curriculum and cultivate a spiritof innovation. Vice Principal Dr. G. Padma Gouri addressed the parents and toldthem about the importance of regular attendance of the students and activeparticipate in cocurricularand departmental activities, and consistent participation in college events asintegral and helps in holistic development of the students. The PTM came to anend with the conclusion that, mutual understanding and cooperation of Parentsand Teachers are very important for the proper nourishment and progress of thestudents. It was a positive and a fruitful interaction for both the teachersand the parents.


The Department of Management organized a “Group Discussion (GD) Competition” for the students of BBA on 26th September in the AVARoom. The event was conducted to enhance communication, analyticalthinking and decision-making skills of the students. The GD was conducted ontwo thought-provoking topics viz. IsAI a Threat or Tool for Business? and Education vs. Skill – What Matters theMost for the Job?

The objectiveof the  Group Discussion was to encouragestudents to express their views confidently, develop critical thinking andimprove teamwork, listening, & leadership qualities.


The GD competition was a great success, providing students with an excellentplatform to showcase their communication and analytical abilities. Among thestandout performers were Joy Mable Toppo and Mansi Sahu, who were recognized asthe Best Speakers for their impactful delivery. Rashmi Sharma and AkshadaMishra secured the position of First Runners-up, while Tarun Kumar Sahu and DishaDas were named Second Runners-up for their thoughtful contributions and clarityof thought. The event not only boosted participants' confidence but alsoequipped them with valuable skills for future academic and professionalchallenges.

TheDepartment of Management and the Department of BA jointly organized theOrientation Program Pinnacle: “Scaling Heights of Knowledge and Leadership”for the students of BBA and BA on 30th August 2025 in the Seminar Hall.The program aimed to connect the BBA and BA first-semester students with thecollege, familiarize them with college life and culture, introduce thefacilities available, and help them know their colleagues and teachers. Theprogram was graced by the presence of the Principal, Dr. Kuldeep Dubey, VicePrincipal, Dr. G. Padma Gouri, In-charge of BA Department, Dr. YashasweeLonkar, In-charge of Management Department Ms. Aanchal Mishra and facultymembers of both departments. The event began with the welcoming of dignitariesfollowed by the ceremonial lamp lighting. Ms. Aanchal Mishra, gave a welcomingaddress highlighting the objectives of the program and encouraged the studentsto flourish like the lotus by adopting positive skills and a positive mindset. PrincipalSir addressed the gathering, motivating the students to actively participate inacademics as well as in extracurricular activities. He emphasized theimportance of skill-building for future success and also shared a briefoverview of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.The program also showcasedthe meaningful integration of the two Departments Management and BA workingtogether to create a holistic learning environment for the students. Addingvibrancy to the event, students enthusiastically participated and showcasedtheir talents through various dance performances, games and involvement in theactivities. The program concluded with an interactive session, leaving thestudents inspired and encouraged. The Orientation Program proved to be aresounding success, marking the beginning of a fruitful academic journey forthe new batch of students. Ms. Aanchal Mishra was the In-charge of the event.


OnAugust 25th, the AVA Room buzzed with creativity and innovation as students ofBBA I gathered for the “Slide Spark” PPT Presentation Competition. Held at11:30 AM, this event showcased the art of effective communication, visualstorytelling, and technical prowess. The competition was centered on trendingsocial media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter (X),and Pinterest. Each group of students selected a platform and created engaging,informative slides to demonstrate the importance and impact of these socialmedia sites, especially in the realm of marketing.

The competition wasgraced by two esteemed judges, Dr. Neetu Gupta from the Department of Commerceand Ms. Aayesha Hendricks from the Education Department. The students' effortswere critically evaluated by the judges, who assessed the creativity, depth ofknowledge, technical execution, and presentation skills. First prize was baggedby the Linkedin team while Instagram was the runner up.

 The Slide Spark competition was a hugesuccess, combining creativity, learning, and fun. The event provided a platformfor students to enhance their public speaking skills, gain confidence inpresenting in front of an audience and provided a unique opportunity to explorethe digital marketing world through the lens of social media platforms.
