Special Day Committee of St. Vincent Pallotti College, Raipur, on the occasion of Vivekananda Jayanti: National Youth Day organized “Youngistaan: We are the dreamers- Slogan Writing Competition to introduce students to the ideals of Swami Vivekananda.

Objectives   -

• To develop a sense of duty towards the country among the students.
• To provide an opportunity to the students to display their artistic, creative and expressive skills.
• To develop the spirit of healthy competition among the students.

Students of all departments participated in the competition with great enthusiasm and displayed their slogans artistically. The competition was judged by Vice Principal Dr. G. Padma Gouri and Dr. Sunita Pawar.

Vice Principal Dr. G. Padma Gouri in her speech highlighted the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and inspired students to make true use of their power.

किसी भी देश की भाषा और संस्कृति लोगों को जोड़ने और एक मजबूत राष्ट्र बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती है। हिंदी प्रेम, एकता और भाईचारे की भाषा है। हिन्दी आजादी के आंदोलन की भाषा है | हिंदी दिवस 14 सितंबर को बड़े गर्व और जोश के साथ पूरे भारत मे मनाया जाता है क्योंकि 14 सितंबर, 1949 को हिंदी को हमारे देश, भारत की आधिकारिक भाषा के रूप में अपनाया गया था। देश की राजभाषा के महत्व को चिह्नित करने के लिए, सेंट विन्सेंट पैलोटी महाविद्यालय, रायपुर (छ.ग ),स्पेशल डेज़ कमेटी द्वारा हिन्दी दिवस के उपलक्ष्य मे – “आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव –आत्मनिर्भर भारत ”पोस्टर मेकिंग प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया । इस प्रतियोगिता का मुख्य उदेश्य महाविद्यालय के विद्यार्थियों मे अपनी राजभाषा हिन्दी के प्रति जागरूकता लाना उन्हे हिन्दी एवं उनकी कल्पनाशीलता एवं सृजनात्मकता को मंच प्रदान करना था | महाविद्यालय के समस्त विभागो के विद्यार्थियों ने प्रतियोगिता मे बड़े ही उत्साह के साथ भाग लिया एवं अपने विचारो को रंगो के माध्यम से बहुत ही आकर्षक रूप मे प्रस्तुत किया | रेव्ह फादर अमित तिर्की महाविद्यालय संचालक एवं डॉ. कुलदीप दूबे प्राचार्य द्वारा विजेताओ की घोषणा की गई एवं साथ ही विजेताओ को प्रमाण पत्र द्वारा समान्नित किया गया | महाविद्याल की उप प्राचार्या डॉ. जी पदमा गौरी द्वारा उद्बोधन मे हिन्दी भाषा के विकास व उत्थान  के लिए विद्यार्थियों को प्रोत्साहित किया गया | ”पोस्टर मेकिंग प्रतियोगिता में कशिश वाधवनी B. Com. III ने प्रथम स्थान किरण केवट B.Ed.III ने द्वितीय स्थान एवं ईशा साहू BCA I और नीतू पटेल B.Ed III ने सयुक्त रूप से तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया | प्रतियोगिता के निर्णायक श्रीमती आर. गायत्री अयंगार एवं डॉ. सुनीता पवार थी |

कार्यक्रम का संचालन नेहा साहू द्वारा किया गया | सभी ने विद्यार्थियो के प्रयासो की बहुत सराहना की |

Everything around us is an array of colours. Green is the most common colour in the natural world, think of nature and see green in all its glory expressing renewal, life and energy. Green is the colour of Prosperity and Harmony. In order to teach our students about the uses of colours in their immediate environment and to help them to develop an understanding of green colour in many forms, Special Days Committee of St.Vincent Pallotti College,Raipur organized “Hariyar Pallotti” on 27th July 2022 for the students and faculty members. All the students and teachers came dressed up in the different shades of green and the campus became vibrant with the beautiful green colours.

St. Vincent Pallotti College, Raipur celebrated the ‘Hariyar Pallotti’ on the occasion of ‘Enviornment Day’ to spread awareness among people about environmental conservation and importance of nature in our lives as . The program was witnessed by our special guests CA Amitabh Dubey Founder of Green Army Raipur, Mr. Vatsalya Murti, President, Shankar Nagar Zone Green Army, Dr. Ananya Mishra, Zonal Secretary, Shankar Nagar Zone,Mr. Gavesh Sahu, Secretary, Shankar Nagar Zone Green Army  and other notable dignitaries present were Director Rev. Father Amit Tirkey, Principal Dr. Kuldeep Dubey, Vice Principal Dr. G. Padma Gouri, along with the Heads of Department, staff and all the college students.

Dr. Kuldeep Dubey Principal of the college expressed his view on Green Day celebration and importance of ‘Plants on Earth’. Our guests also expressed their view on why plants are very important for survival of the human beings.

The highlight of this celebration was the special guests of Green Army who stepped forward with zeal and confidence to deliver short speeches on the significance of conserving environment.

The program was followed by the Plant distribution ceremony by our dignitaries to the students and teachers.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs.Ramola Dan, Asst.Professor of the college.

The Constitution Day, also known as “Samvidhan Divas” is celebrated every year on November 26 to commemorate adoption of the Constitution of India. On November 26, 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, which came into effect from January 26, 1950. St. Vincent Pallotti Collegecelebrated the Constitution Day to raise awareness regarding the constitutional importance in our daily lives.Keeping these inestimable words in heart and soul and to bring an exemplary change in the society Special Day Committee organized Extempore Speech Competition on theoccasion of  Constitution Day on the theme “ONE NATION: RIGHTS AND RESPOSIBILITIES”.

The program started with Lamp Lighting by the Vice Principal, Dr. G. Padma Gouri and HOD’s of various Departments followed by reading out the preamble of Indian Constitution with great pride and reverence.

After that the Extempore Speech Competition was conducted on different topics related to fundamental rights and responsibilities. Each participant picked a chit and spoke about the topic within the stipulated time of 3 minutes.

The competition was followed by an “Online Quiz” (Constitutionquiz.nic.in) on the theme “भारत लोकतंत्र की जननी” an initiative by the Government of India, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, to celebrate the Constitution Day. All the staffs and students actively participated in the online quiz and got certificates.

The event was graced by Hon’bleVice Principal Dr. G. Padma Gouri. Speaking on this fortunate occasion, the Vice Principal Dr. G. Padma Gouri expressed her treasured words to fetch a remarkable change in the society.

At the end the results were announced by the Vice Principal Dr. G. Padma Gouri along with the judges Dr. KiranjeetKaurBedi and Mr. DhaneshwarYadav.

The first position was secured by Mr. Amber Khan (MA-III Sem), the second position wassecured by Ms. BharatiNayak(B.Ed-I Sem) and the third position was secured by Mr. AmitTigga (B.Ed-I Sem). The program was concluded with certificate distributions to the winners. This event was appreciated and enjoyed by all the students.
